Friday, May 25 at 10:00 pm they'll be competing in California against the San Francisco Shock, and we'll be cheering them on right here in the General Assembly!  LIVE ART AUCTION The Live Art Auction is an evening event where Comicpalooza artists donate time and creativity to produce unique pieces of art, not only for an evening of entertainment but to raise money for charity. Attendees are invited to watch these creations come to life, and to bid on their favorites during the silent auction that's going on simultaneously, all happening 7:00 pm on Saturday May 26 in the Hall C lobby.  LIVE BANDS We're bringing together an eclectic group of performers to make you laugh, make you blush, make you bang your head, and make you dance a little…or a lot. We don't judge at Comicpalooza. It's all about having fun! You don't have to like everything but surely you'll discover something you like. Participating film makers are invited to attend. Prizes will be awarded to winners in a number of categories including Best Picture, Best Animated Film, Best Short, and much more. PARTNER EVENTS Come out tonight to Market Square Park for the screening of Batman (1989). Kick-off starts at 7:00 pm with the movie starting at 8:30 pm.  Join us at the showing of The Dark Knight at Discovery Green on Friday, May 25 from 8:30 p.m.-10 p.m. We'll even have a special guest appearance by Nestor Carbonell, who will be on site before the film for a Q&A session.
